Why you instead of an in-store decorator?
We view our work as more than just a job– it is calling, driven by a deep passion for creating beauty and an abiding belief in it’s ability to uplift the spirit. Our designs have stood out from standard, cookie cutter interiors, because beautiful aesthetics and a client’s preferences (each client is given individual attention), are more important to us than the promotion of just any brand. It is our interest in understanding a client, artisanry and our craft, which has created spaces that are unique and will continue to drive our aesthetic in the future.
Can I see more samples of your work?
What cities do you work in?
We work across India and overseas.
Where do you get your furniture and furnishings?
We custom make most of our furniture in house from reclaimed wood at our workshop in New Delhi. We also make some furnishings using handloom fabric, Azo free or Natural dyes. As far as is possible, we work with local craftsmen, artisans, environmentally friendly businesses and small business owners.
Do we need to use your contractor or architect- can you work with our builder/ architect/ contractor?
We prefer working with our team as projects are completed with more efficiency. There have however, been instances in the past where we’ve worked quite comfortably with a Client’s team.
Is there a contract?
Yes, signed by both client and designer before a project starts.
Do I have to use a designer’s services for everything, or just as needed?
Just as needed. We work on a customised client model.
What is the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator?
Interior designers are usually involved in all aspects of the planning and finishing of an internal space. This includes function as well as how a space looks. Broadly, this would include- The colour palette of the room, layouts or structures and fittings, wet area design, lighting and electrical design, taps and faucets, cabinetry, window, floor and wall treatment, furnishings .
Interior decoration is generally how a space looks rather than how it functions. Interior decorators are not consulted on the structure of the space, and usually come into the project towards completion.
What budgets do you work with? Do you offer discounts for multiples spaces?
We work comfortably on most budgets. For smaller projects, we’d recommend a consultancy. We offer discounts, if approached for more than one space.
